support@noxterra.appFrequently asked
Is Noxterra really free?
Yes. Noxterra is free to download and use. It's supported by ads and anonymous diagnostics — there's no paywall on the core tools and no rewarded-ad walls to unlock basic features.
Does Noxterra upload my files or photos?
No. The cleaner, file manager, document scanner, photo vault, app lock, battery, vitals and network tools all run on your device. Noxterra never uploads your photos, files or messages. See the Privacy Policy for the full detail.
How do I turn off diagnostics or ads personalisation?
Open Settings → Privacy inside the app to switch off anonymous diagnostics at any time. In the EEA/UK you're asked for ad consent on first launch; you can also reset or delete your advertising ID from your Android system settings.
I forgot my Vault passphrase. Can you recover it?
No — and that's by design. The Vault is encrypted on your device and can only be opened with your passphrase or the recovery key you saved when setting it up. We never receive your passphrase, so we cannot restore Vault contents. Please keep your recovery key somewhere safe.
Why does a tool ask for a permission?
Each permission is requested only for the feature that needs it, and explained in-context. For example, the Wi-Fi analyzer needs location because Android requires it to read nearby Wi-Fi details; it's used in the foreground only and never for tracking. Full list in the Privacy Policy.
Something's not working. What should I include in a report?
Email us with your device model, Android version, the app version (Settings → About), and what you were doing when it happened. A screenshot helps a lot.
